First Money Account
First Financial Bank's First Money account is for those that want to earn money market interest, have instant access to their money and don't write many checks. This is our top interest-paying account.
- Opening deposit of $100.
- Earn money market interest that is compounded and credited monthly.
- Unlimited transactions in person, by messenger or by mail.
- Six Pre-authorized withdrawals per statement cycle with no more than three by check, draft, point-of-sale, or similar order to third parties. An excessive transaction fee of $10 for each check or electronic transfer to a third party in excess of three during statement cycle.
- If the balance falls below $1,500 during the month, a $10 service fee is charged.
- Free cashier checks/money orders, limited to three per day.
- Free single signature travelers checks.
Statement Savings
In combination with a First Financial Checking Account or alone, the Statement Savings account will help you conveniently keep track of your money.
- No restriction on the number of deposits or withdrawals.
- $25 minimum opening deposit.
- Interest compounded and credited quarterly.
- Complete quarterly statement.
- No monthly service charge unless balance falls below $100 at any time during the month. If balance falls below $100, service charge is $3 per month. This fee will not apply to accounts of children under age 18 or senior citizens 50 plus. The new accounts representatives must be given the date of birth. The customer must notify our New Accounts Department to request this exemption.
- Transfers from statements savings account to another account or to third parties by pre-authorized, automatic, telephone or computer transfers are limited to six per month with no transfers by check, draft, debit card, or similar order to third party. An excessive transaction fee of $3 for each transaction in excess of six per month will be applied.
Certificates of Deposit
Certificates of Deposit are for those that are interested in a short or long term investment. Consider a Certificate of Deposit offering the following:
- $500 minimum investment.
- Higher yield than a regular savings account.
- Competitive rates.
- Terms range from 91 days to 60 months.
- Interest is compounded monthly and paid monthly.
- Early withdrawal penalties may apply.
Individual Retirement Accounts
Begin an Individual Retirement Account today. Come to one of our (9) locations and talk to our New Accounts department for details.
- Traditional, Roth IRA and Coverdell Education Savings Account (CESA).
- No enrollment or maintenance fees.
- With our IRA variable, deposits can be made at anytime.
- $500 minimum deposit for certificates, as low as $25 for Variable Rate IRA accounts.

Traditional IRA
- Money you contribute is usually 100% tax deductible.
- All earnings on your IRA contributions remain tax deferred until you make withdrawals from your account.
- Distributions must be taken beginning at the age of 70 1/2.
- Interest compounded and credited monthly.
- Free Cashier checks/money orders, limited to three per day.
- Free single signature travelers checks.
Roth IRA
- Interest you earn grows tax-free.
- Money you contribute is not deductible.
- Money you contribute can generally be distributed tax-free.
- Distributions are not required at age 70 1/2.
- Interest can be distributed tax-free if the Roth IRA
holder first made a Roth IRA contribution at least five years
prior to distribution.
