First Financial Bank has an immediate opening for a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant in our Mortgage Office in Ft. Smith, AR.
The primary responsibility of this position is to promote a professional, friendly and inviting image of the service to be expected by all customers of First Financial Bank, and to provide administrative support to the processing and delivery of loans.
Education/Experience Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities (include the following): Greet customers in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner. Escort customer to appropriate office, or employee at the branch for assistance and make necessary introductions between customer and appropriate bank personnel. Provide assistance to loan officers, processors, and closers as prescribed by Branch Manager. Perform administrative duties such as typing memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents as time permits.
Other skills/abilities: Must have skills in use of general office equipment such as typewriter and ten-key calculator. Computer experience with working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.) a plus. Minimum of one year customer service experience preferred. Individual must possess excellent organizational skills and be able to handle multiple tasks. Requires individual with excellent communication skills, both on and off the phone. Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently. Individual should project an overall professional image.
