Part Time Item Processing Clerk - El Dorado, AR
First Financial Bank in El Dorado, AR has an immediate opening for a Part Time Item Processing Clerk.
The primary responsibility of the position is to process daily POD work as it is received from the branches, ensure the work is in balance, correct rejected items and make necessary adjustments, prepare outgoing cash letter, maintain necessary reports and deliver the required documents and reports to other staff members. Process the daily incoming cash letter ensuring the cash letter is in balance and all necessary adjustments are corrected. Complete research received by branches and other departments in a timely manner and ensure all research is logged by tracking. Handle incoming and outgoing adjustments from Federal Reserve Bank, branches and departments. Work in the mailroom preparing mail with correct postage and ensure proper US Mail procedures are followed. Work on return mail daily, maintain mail in alphabetical order and follow procedures to forward mail when a correct address is received. Ensure all manuals and desktop procedures are maintained, updated and adhered to as necessary. Backup other areas within the operations department.
Education/Experience Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other skills/abilities: Must have skills in use of general office equipment such as typewriter and ten-key calculator. Computer experience with working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.) a plus. Individual must possess excellent organizational skills and be able to work under strict time deadlines. Should be able to handle multiple operations/tasks of this position at one time.
