Branch Manager/ Lobby Supervisor - El Dorado, AR
First Financial Bank has an immediate opening for an Branch Manager/ Lobby Supervisor.
The primary responsibility of this position is to administer operations of a branch office ensuring bank policies and procedures are followed. Ensures compliance with regulations such as but not limited to AML, BSA, CIP, Reg. CC, Reg. DD, Reg. E and CRA. Supervisory responsibilities include the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Branch. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; recommending promotions and salary increases; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing customer complaints and resolving problems
Education/Experience Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (GED); Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) preferred in business administration or accounting; two to four years related experience and/or training in Banking, Teller, Customer Service, etc. One to two years previous management in banking or other related field a plus.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Manages overall branch office operations. Represents the financial institution to the community through good customer relations. Participates in activities for generation of new business such as sales calls and special event. Utilize bank software to track sales and ensure staff are meeting sales goals set. Opens and closes the branch; maintains and stays abreast of security policies and procedures. Cross-sells bank products and services such as checking, savings, time accounts and loans. Oversees the vault operations and procedures to ensure adherence to proper vault and key controls with self and staff. Maintains knowledge of branch policies and procedures with respect to approving checks and overrides and as authorized check signer. Processes teller work, and ATM servicing when necessary. Accepts and processes loan applications within assigned limits or sends to Main Office for approval, and close loans as assigned. Ensure 100% compliance with all regulations in all areas such as AML, BSA, CIP, Reg. CC, Reg. E and CRA along with other regulations pertaining to the position. Reviews staff for formal performance evaluations and recommends salary adjustments. Counsel’s employees when needed. Coordinates staff training when needed (cross-train). Ensure monthly audits are completed as required in the branch audit manual. Provides and maintains a professional, business-like atmosphere within the branch office.
Other Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to operate basic office equipment, computers and knowledge of AS400, Excel and Word.
- Requires excellent organization skills and ability to work under strict time deadlines.

- Must have strong verbal and interpersonal relationship skills.
- Should be able to handle multiple tasks and be a self-starter.
