Document Control Clerk - El Dorado, AR
First Financial Bank has an immediate opening for an Document Control Clerk in the Corporate Office in El Dorado, AR.
This position is responsible for preparing loans files for audits, reviewing and updating files with necessary documentation, and performing daily duties as outlined below.
Education/Experience Requirements: High school diploma or GED plus additional training up through one year of college or technical school, or equivalent, in accounting or a related field; one to two years’ experience in accounting or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: File loan documents. Prepare loan files for audits – review loan files for updated documentation and work with offices to complete files. Prepare files and documents for scanning, as needed. Maintain paid off loan files – confirm payoff, pull files for storage and check to see if borrower has other active loans/files and move pertinent documents, if applicable as well as retrieving payoff documents from storage for borrowers and offices as needed. Make files for new loans. Process daily disbursement requests from all divisions – balance receipts to requests, verify available funds and Type and record checks. Process wires daily – balance receipts to requests, verify available funds and forward to Accounting. Assist with Loan Committee – get loan papers, pictures, maps and credit reports together and make copies for Loan Committee members. Pick up and distribute mail for Loan Servicing. Provide service to customers and branches needing loan documents/copies. Distribute and mail Past Due notices daily. Send FedEx/mail to AG offices daily. Assist with special projects. All other duties as assigned by Supervisor
