Marketing Assistant - El Dorado,AR

First Financial Bank has an immediate opening for an Marketing Assistant in our office located in El Dorado, AR.

The Marketing Assistant position is a multi-faceted job that requires a wide variety of skills and abilities to fulfill demands from all bank departments and branches.  Of utmost importance is the professional image required when dealing with the public as this position represents First Financial Bank in everything they do and every product they produce.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following):

  • Receive, process, and obtain approvals for all donation and sponsorship requests for all FFB locations, paying strict attention to deadlines.  Work with the ad agency and graphic designer to develop appropriate messaging and graphics for all requests.  Obtain necessary approvals from Marketing and Compliance.
  • Control distribution and inventory of promotional items and brochures for all offices. This includes the yearly order of calendars for all FFB locations, promotional orders for all offices, as well as requests for promo items received from both inside and outside the bank, holiday envelopes for branches, and Razorback football schedules.  Update inventory as necessary and research/order new items as requested.
  • Maintain all digital listings and provide monthly reports for Google Business pages and Google Analytics to the Marketing Team and Executive Management as requested.  
  • Help promote our products and services by providing administrative support for our locations and all related events and activities.
  • Maintain professional messaging on all digital and marquee signs by remotely accessing the sign portal for each location and updating as requested.
  • Prepare mail for departmental and bank-wide mailings, including invitations, newsletters, and marketing campaigns.
  • Prepare marketing materials for print, including banners, in-branch signage, flyers, event support materials, etc.
  • Provide ad files monthly for electronic billboards.
  • Schedule radio ads with employees and local stations.  
  • Coordinate all community cookouts components:  Maintenance (tent/table set up), Volunteers, food, and supply orders.
  • Update Prestige Plus Club mailing list as received and forward to Operations once completed.
  • Code/enter marketing invoices, coding appropriate amounts to each cost center.
  • Prepare invoices monthly for Accounts Payable on all promotional items purchased/shipped to each cost center.
  • Provide Accounts Payable with VISA receipts for all department employees by the 15th of each month.
  • In support of our branches and their deposit gathering (Rev Q) program, prepare monthly calendars and distribute them to all retail locations, highlighting FFB-sponsored events.
  • Assist in preparing for and working at bank-sponsored events
  • Volunteer activities:  Particularly heavy in November and December, coordinate/recruit volunteers for the Salvation Army Kettle Drive, Angel Tree, and JOY Center projects; work with the bank's Loaned Executive on our United Way campaign and other volunteer activities.
  • Pick up departmental mail twice daily.
  • Assist with graphics and content for social media.
  • Assist with Google Review campaigns.  
  • Perform clerical duties of the Marketing Department and other duties as assigned.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Associate's Degree (two-year college or technical school) in Marketing, Business, or other related field required; or two to four years related experience in marketing, banking, administrative or other related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.                                                                                                                                                                                                        

OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Advanced computer experience, including entire MS Office Suite, mail merge, and database skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to research and prepare reports based on findings utilizing Google Analytics.
  • Initiative - Ability to make decisions or take actions to solve a problem or reach a goal.
  • Organizational Skills - Possessing organizational and multi-tasking skills (requires an individual who is able to handle many tasks at one time and pay close attention to details).
  • Project Management - Ability to organize and direct a project to completion.
  • Working Under Pressure - Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations.
