Bozeman Receives First Financial Bank Academic Excellence Scholarship

First Financial Bank’s Academic Excellence Scholarship provides $3,000 a year to a student who is a resident of Tate or DeSoto County and has been awarded at Northwest Mississippi Community College since 2010. The student must be a high school graduate, entering Northwest Mississippi Community College as a first time freshman, and maintained a minimum 2.5 grade point average in high school. The scholarship represents an investment by First Financial in the future of Northwest Mississippi. First Financial recognizes the tremendous impact that college-educated young people have both economically and in the well-being of their communities. First Financial Bank has generously contributed to Northwest Mississippi Community College for over 20 years in other areas such as championship football rings, golf tournaments, Fine Arts Renovation Campaign, Reading Roundtable, and the Ranger Bluegrass Festival.
