Farm Inspector - Gainesville, GA
First Financial Bank has an immediate opening for an Farm Inspector in the Gainesville, GA office of our Agri Division.
This position is responsible for performing annual inspections, construction inspections, annual financial analysis, FSA & SBA Environmental Surveys, Bank REO (Real Estate Owned) Inspections & monthly reports, and originating small Ag loans as needed.
Education/Experience Requirements: Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Perform annual inspections for the purpose of verifying the bank’s collateral. Annual Inspections will consist of the farm inspector visiting each First Financial Bank customer annually and verifying the bank’s secured collateral by taking pictures of all collateral listed on the AS400. Completion of inspection reports showing principal balances, annual payment due dates, and a snap shot of the farm conditions. Perform construction inspections for the purpose of verifying work completed for construction draws. Perform REO inspections for the purpose of verifying collateral on bank owned properties to insure collateral is intact and farm has not been vandalized and items stolen. Annual Financial Analysis for entire are poultry office loan portfolio. This will consist of analyzing the previous year’s federal tax return and current financial statement, comparing the updated information to the original cash flow projections of the farm. If the current cash flow does not meet original projections, the farm inspector must be able to list reasons why the farm did not meet projections (higher expenses, lower gross income, increased non-farm debts). Complete FSA 851 Environmental Surveys and provide Environmental Consultants information to obtain a SBA Environmental Risk Survey. Originate small Ag loans as needed.
