What is going on?

First Financial Bank is planning significant upgrades to our technology systems this year. These will help us continue to deliver superior products and innovative services and provide a best-in-class experience for our customers.

 

When will the upgrades take place?

We haven’t completely finalized the date yet, but we are targeting this fall. We have been planning and testing the new systems for a few months now, and feel comfortable with a fall rollout, but we will announce a date soon. You will receive a lot more information as we get closer to the upgrade date, but we just wanted to give you something to look forward to with this initial announcement.

 

What is changing?

Online banking/Mobile banking

Our new online banking and mobile app will be state-of-the-art, and we can’t wait for our customers to see it! The screens will change, but you will still be able to access your accounts and get the same information you do today. The new online banking screens will have an updated look and feel and will be much more intuitive so that you can find your way around with no problem.

Bill payment

Bill payment will also be upgraded to a top-tier new system. But don’t worry—your payees will still be there, and any scheduled transfers that you have set up will continue as normal.

Debit Cards

We will send out new Mastercard debit cards with a contactless tap-to-pay feature and enhanced security features. Plus, they have a trendy new design!

 

Do I need to do anything to prepare?

If you currently use online banking, mobile, or telephone banking, you will need to follow a few instructions the first time you log in. We will be sending additional communications to you next month with step-by-step instructions outlining what you need to do and when (via mail, email, and on our website). You will probably get sick of hearing from us, but we want to make sure you have all the information you need to get the most from our new online banking, mobile, and telephone banking systems.

This will allow us to better serve our customers, which is our main priority.

 

This would be a good time to double-check your email, mailing address, and phone number we have on file to ensure they are current.
