While we anticipate a smooth transition with little disruption to our customers, we want to ensure you are well-informed and fully prepared for the changes ahead. Please refer to the FAQ section below to learn more, and take special note of anything in RED, as it will require some action from you.

Important Dates & Times

There are a few dates to remember as we prepare for the technology upgrade, and to ensure we’re able to help answer any questions throughout the transition.

Upgrade Weekend

The majority of the changes will begin on Thursday, September 18, 2025, and will be finalized on Monday, September 22, 2025.

 

Please note that our branches will be closed on Saturday, September 20, but we are extending our customer service hours, so we’re just a phone call away!

Do I need to do anything to prepare for the upgrade?

Yes! There are a few things to note as we prepare for this transition. Please take action on the items in red.

  •  BILL PAY: Ensure any upcoming bill payments are scheduled in the system by Friday, September 12, 2025. Online bill pay will not be available from September 12 – 22, 2025, but any pre-scheduled payments will still process.
  •  DEBIT CARD: You'll receive a new Mastercard debit card prior to the upgrade. Activate and begin using your new debit card on Monday, September 22, 2025. Your old Visa debit card will no longer work after Monday, September 22, 2025. You may need to update recurring payments attached to your debit card.
  •  MOBILE APP: To access the new online banking platform, you will need to download the new mobile app for your phone or tablet from the app store on Monday, September 22, 2025.

Will there be any downtime for online banking or other services?

Yes, while we work on transitioning to our new system, several services will be unavailable over the weekend of September 18 - 22, 2025. All times below are in CST.

  •  ONLINE BANKING: Online and Mobile banking will be unavailable beginning at 6:00 PM on Thursday, September 18, 2025, and will remain unavailable over the weekend.  You will be able to access the new online and mobile banking platforms beginning Monday, September 22, 2025.
  •  MOBILE DEPOSIT: The mobile deposit functionality will be disabled at 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 18, 2025, and will become available on Monday, September 22, 2025 when you log into the new Mobile App.
  •  BUSINESS ONLINE BANKING: Ensure any wires and ACH files are processed by Wednesday, September 17, 2025.  Business Online Banking will become unavailable beginning at 6:00 PM on Thursday, September 18, 2025, and will remain unavailable over the weekend.  You will be able to access the new business online and mobile banking platforms beginning Monday, September 22, 2025.
  •  BILL PAY: Online Bill Pay will be unavailable from Friday, September 12, 2025, until Monday, September 22, 2025.  Please make sure any upcoming bill payments are scheduled in the system before Friday, September 12, 2025. All scheduled payments will still be sent even during and after the downtime. 
  •  ATMs: The bank’s ATMs will be available for withdrawals throughout the transition. However, balance inquiries will be unavailable at the bank’s ATMs from Thursday, September 18, 2025, until Monday, September 22, 2025.
  •  TELEPHONE BANKING: Telephone Banking will be unavailable from 6:00 PM on Thursday, September 18, 2025, until Monday, September 22, 2025. Beginning Monday, September 22, 2025, you will be able to access the new telephone banking platform using the same telephone numbers you are using today.

FAQs

How do I log into the new online banking system?

When logging into the new Online Banking or Mobile Banking for the first time on or after Monday, September 22, 2025, you will need to follow these steps if you are currently enrolled:

  1. Enter your Username.  Your current username will remain the same for this step.
  2. Input your Password.  Your password will be the last four digits of your SSN or TIN.
  3. The system will prompt you to change your password.  Your new password will require you to meet new security controls.
  4. Once you have reset your password, simply follow the prompts to gain access to your accounts!

How do I enroll in the new online banking system?

If you are not a current user of Online or Mobile Banking, please contact us on or after Monday, September 22, 2025. You will need to be set up in the new system.

Are there any operating system or browser requirements for the new platforms?

The following browsers are supported:

  • Apple Safari
  • Google Chrome
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Mozilla Firefox  

The following mobile operating systems are supported:

  • iOS devices should be version 17.0 or newer
  • Android devices should be version 8.0 or newer

Please remember to always practice good cybersecurity by keeping your operating systems and browsers updated to the most current versions.

Will the existing FFB Mobile Banking app still work after the update?

To put it simply… No.  

The existing FFB Mobile app will no longer work after Thursday, September 18, 2025.  Please remember to remove your current FFB Mobile Banking app and download the NEW FFB Mobile Banking app from Google Play or the App Store on or after Monday, September 22, 2025.  Look for the new, burgundy icon featuring our logo.  

I use Quicken, QuickBooks, or Mint Financial Software.  Will anything change?

After the system upgrade, there will be a 5-day interruption in service, but once available, you’ll have access to an enhanced list of financial software.

Will Bill Pay information transfer to the new system?

All of your bill payment information, including payees and scheduled payments, will be transferred to the new system, but please verify your existing payments are correct. If you’ve previously received eBills, you’ll need to re-enroll as they will not transfer automatically.  

Do I have to reset automatic transfers?

If you have any scheduled automatic transfers set up to move money between your accounts on a regular basis, those will be transferred to the new system.

Will my Account Alerts transfer to the new system?

Unfortunately, no. To set up Account Alerts, click Settings to access the new alerts screen. Setup is quick and easy!

Will check images be available in the new system?

Check images will be available for all new transactions, but will not be visible for transactions that took place prior to the system change (anything that occurred on or before Thursday, September 18, 2025) until early December.  In the meantime, if you need a copy of a check, just call us, and we’ll be happy to provide it for you.

What about Telephone Banking?

The telephone banking number will remain the same: 800-226-6769

The new FFB telephone banking system will be available on Monday, September 22, 2025.  When calling into the new system for the first time on or after Monday, September 22, 2025, you will need to re-establish your PIN.

Will my current debit card work after the upgrade?

No. You will receive a new Mastercard debit card prior to the upgrade. Your old Visa debit card will no longer work after Monday, September 22, 2025. Activate and begin using your new debit card on Monday, September 22, 2025. To activate your new card, call the number on the card, follow the prompts, and set your PIN.

You may need to update any payments or subscriptions attached to your debit card with the new card number.

FAQs

Will my account statement cycle remain the same?

All accounts will receive a mailed statement as of September 18, 2025. If you have a Kasasa account, the qualification cycle end date will be Wednesday, September 17.  To receive rewards in September, you must complete all qualifications by September 17, 2025.  For the period August 28th to September 17th, interest earned on Kasasa Cash with Saver accounts will remain in the Kasasa Cash account and not automatically transfer to the Kasasa Saver account. 

Beginning in October, all statements will be cycled on their normal dates. All statements and billing notices will have a new updated design. 

If I currently receive eStatements, will I have to re-enroll in the new system?

You will not have to fully re-enroll, but you will have to accept the electronic delivery agreement before you can continue receiving eStatements.

How do I log into the new online banking system if I am a business user?

I use ACH Origination to send and receive funds.  Will these templates transfer to the new system?  

Yes, your ACH templates will automatically transfer. Our Business Online experts will reach out to you individually before moving to the new system.  All ACH transactions must be submitted in Business Online Banking on or before Wednesday, September 17, 2025.  This service will become available in the new system on Monday, September 22, 2025.

Will check images be available in the new system?

Check images will be available for all new transactions, but will not be visible for transactions that took place prior to the system change (anything that occurred on or before Thursday, September 18, 2025) until early December.  In the meantime, if you need a copy of a check, just call us, and we’ll be happy to provide it for you.
